Mycenae, the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, is the most important and richest palatial center of the late Bronze Age in Greece, which its name was given to one of the greatest civilizations, the Mycenaean civilization.Passing through Argos arrive to Nafplion 1st capital of Greece in 1829.
After lunch depart to Epidaurus. The Epidaurus theatre is well preserved in shape. All the benches and thrones of the theatre carry inscriptions with names of the donors, while implying a direct relationship of the monument with the cult of Dionysus.
The theatre is well known for its exceptional acoustics, which permit almost perfect intelligibility of unamplified spoken word from the scene to all 12000 spectators.
