After the visits, a break at the beautiful beach of Marathon is ideal for swimming and leisure as well as for enjoying a nice lunch by the sea in one of the charming local taverns.In the afternoon a nice drive to the South-East of Attica allows to visit Cape Sounio crowned by the glorious Temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean sea.
