Classical Three Day  Tour of Greece

Attractions:Corinth Canal, Epidaurus,Nauplia, Mycenae, Olympia,Delphi

1st Day. Welcome to our Classical three days organized tour of Gteece by MBSathenstransfers.com. We start our journly fron Athens and we drive all the way to the Corinth Canal where we will take a short break to enjoy it’s fantastic view and take some pictures. We will continue driving by the coast until all the way to Epidaurus. There we will see the well preserved ancient Theater of Epidaurus which is famous for it’s wonderful accoustics which makes every sound from the scene possible to hear to each of the 12000 viewers no matter how far they are seated and without the help of electronic instruments. After that we will continue our classical three dats organized tour of Greece and we will head to Nafplion, Greece’s first capital in 1829. We will take a small break to enjoy the city and take pictures. Our next destination is Mycenae, the ancient kingdom of Agamemnon. Mycenae is one the most important regions of the Bronze Age where the Mycenean civilization, one of the greatest ancient civilizations, flourished during that period and left behind a rich archaeological treasure. Later in the afternoon we will continue our Bus tour to reach Olympia where we will be dining and spending the night.(D)


2nd day. Today we will be visiting Olympia, one of the most important ancient locations of Greece, the birth place of the Olympic games, an ancient athletic celebration that took place every four years to honour the god Zeus. You will have the opportunity to visit the magnificent archaeological location and also the museum. After our visit there will continue our tour and we will cross the sea over the suspended bridge of Rio-Antirrion where will reach Nafpaktos and then we will continue our trip to Delphi where we will enjoy a nice dinner and stay for the night.(D)


3rd Day. We will visit  the ancient Sanctuary of Delphi, which lies at the foot of mount Parnassos, well known in the ancient times for its oracle Pythia. Delphi during ancient times has been both a cultural and a religious centre and it had a special meaning to the rest of the hellenic world as it was a place that stood for unity to the rest of Greece. Additionally in Delphi was held every four years the the Pythian games which were second to importance to the Olympic games. Make sure to visit the archaeological site so where you can sense the ancient spirit of the sanctuary, and also the musuem where you can see the magnificent remains of the time, amongst them the one of its kind bronze statue of “The Charioteer”. After the tour to the archaelogical site and the musuem we will have a two hour free time before we start our journey back to Athens and bringing our wonderful Classical three days organized tour of Greece to its end.
