The National Gallery

The National Gallery in Athens is a museum in Athens that hosts Greek and European art from Renaissance up to the 20th century. It was created in 1878 and at the time it had only 117 exhibits. Nowadays it showcases art that is mostly from the post-Byzantine Era.
