Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Located just in front of the old royal palace in syntagma square, it is a war monument made in memory of all the soldiers that were killed in the war. The front of the tomb represents the figure of a dead male warrior, lying naked on the ground. On his head he is wearing a helmet typical of Ancient greek soliders. It's sculpted in such a way that it gives the impression that the dead warrior is about to rise up.
